Questioning: at present, the domestic secondary aluminum enterprises’ condition of business has already changed; the secondary aluminum enterprises’ management can’t be worked again by the business model -“sacrificing the staff, sacrificing the environment”. Many domestic regeneration enterprises must change now. Manager Li, please explain with examples that what kind of innovation has Chongqing Sigma made in the business management?

Manager Li: Sigma attaches importance to Chinese environmental protection laws and regulations from the establishment. Especially in 2005, Shanghai Sigma moved to the new factory district, we implemented the environmental protection idea throughout the entire factory’s district design and construction, and completed the first garden factory in the profession. Besides, in 2005, Shanghai Sigma passed the ISO14000 environmental protection system authentication. Especially in the aspect of staff labor protection, Sigma has scrupulously followed the work laws and regulations, has formed good labor management relation, and adopted the OSHAS18000 staff safety and health system authentication. The promulgation of new national labor law strengthens the environmental management, in fact, it has not any influence on Sigma, on the contrary, it is actually advantageous to the fair competition, and we are really welcome.

Questioning: We know that Sigma Group insists to innovate independently in the industry, and proposes that “cast a better tomorrow by the management idea of RECYCLING FOR A BETTER TOMORROW.” Manager Li, please explain what the management idea and the significance are that it refers inside?

Manager Li: Speaking of the waste aluminum recycling, in recent years it is always considered as the trash profession which pollutes the environment, but we never think so. If these waste aluminum have not been recycled, they would really become the trash. If the waste material is well used, it is advantageous to the society and the environment resources. Sigma insists to produce cleanly; the question of the environment pollution does not exist. Therefore, we are proud of the profession we engaged in, “regeneration is for a better tomorrow”.

Questioning: The waste aluminum is one kind of superiority resources, especially in the aspects of electricity consumption, water consumption, exhaust gas discharge, solid waste management. Manager Li, please say something about the effort Sigma has made as well as the achievement Sigma has got to save energy, lower energy consumption and reduce pollutants discharge?

Manager Li: Speaking of the equipment investment, we installed energy conservation equipment, such as the heat recovery system which adopted the heat accumulating type combustion technology. Speaking of the business management, the energy conservation should be considered bit by bit. Strengthening the business management would have effect on energy conservation. Speaking of the actual benefit, Chongqing Sigma each ton aluminum consume nature gas 75-80 stere, which is also the lowest in the nation.

Questioning: Chongqing Sigma has 300,000 ton secondary aluminum project and provides the high quality sufficient aluminum alloy material for die casting aluminum enterprises which produces auto and motorcycle necessaries. With the Chinese automobile industry's fast development, Sigma will have the infinite development space. Manager Li, please summarize the present situation and the industry forecast about the secondary aluminum market?

Manager Li:(1).Looking from the market demand, the application domain of secondary aluminum market is very broad, for instance the automobile industry, the electrical appliances industry and so on, the market demand is also very huge.       (2).Looking from the national policy, the country suppresses the high energy consuming industry, after suppression it must seek for the substitution; therefore the country is supporting the secondary aluminum industry now. This is the demand for national development; its prospects have no doubt.    (3).Looking from the resources function, more original aluminum expended, more waste aluminum recycled. Simultaneously, the secondary aluminum will have more resources, and therefore the secondary aluminum enterprises will have infinite development opportunities.       (4).Certainly, we also see that the secondary aluminum industry has many problems, such as production surplus, unfair competition, and small profit margin and so on. Being the leading enterprise in our profession, we can only depend upon the technology advancement and raising the automated level unceasingly to take the market initiative.

Questioning: In the international aspect, the Japanese big earthquake, immediately influences Japanese automobile industry, electronic industry and so on, its market influence has affected the whole world. Manager Li, has Sigma Group received the direct or indirect influence in international trade from the Japanese big earthquake?

Manager Li: Sigma Group has many customers in Japan at present, therefore this earthquake is influential to Sigma. But the Japanese big earthquake affected little to the export trade to Japan. Because the Japanese enterprises keep faith in the trade order form transaction, only the delivery slightly delays, it is estimated that it would restore to the normal level in June and even surpass the original demand. Therefore, I think that the Japanese earthquake brings little trade influence.

Questioning: Chongqing Sigma has always been China Die Casting Website's good friend. Manager Li, please express your opinion about the prospect of E-commerce application in die casting industry?

Manager Li: At present the aluminum ingot and die casting industry develop quite slowly in the electronic commerce application aspect, but it does not affect its prospects for development. Now there is also Alibaba--such outstanding domestic enterprise in the electronic commerce domain. The prospect looks to further increase in die casting industry's electronic commerce in my opinion.
